Depuis 2016, nos programmes se concentrent sur l'amélioration de la région du Grand New Haven, des personnes socialement et économiquement défavorisées, notamment des artistes, des artisans et des créateurs qui se remettent de l'itinérance, des immigrants, des réfugiés et d'autres habitants. Nous les aidons à créer des micro-entreprises et des petites entreprises et à devenir des citoyens productifs mieux adaptés. Nous faisons cela en fournissant une combinaison de
1. Couture en profondeur mélangée à l'éducation à la mode.
2. les connecter à la communauté locale de formation commerciale, de programmes d'incubateur/d'accélération.

He has taught Fashion Design at Coop High School and worked with many local art organizations (Collab New Haven, ConnCorp, Arts & Ideas and Gateway Community College.)

From spending a decade in the aviation field as a Commercial Pilot/Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic to becoming a certified Milliner and Sewing Instructor/Alteration business owner; Catherine journey's is presently to revive the textile/fashion industry in New Haven. Catherine’s love for fashion and sewing led her to start an alteration business from home, to build the sewing Dpt of MakeHaven, then to create the non-profit teaching others sewing skills and the creation of small businesses.
